This page explains how Tech Treck decides what to cover, where the information comes from, and how posts are written.
What we cover
Consumer tech people actually buy: phones, laptops, wearables, headphones, smart home gear, gaming hardware, and cameras. We focus on launches, notable price changes, spec comparisons, and buying advice.
How stories are chosen
Each day we look at what is trending in consumer tech and pick one story that we haven't already covered. We skip stories that don't connect to a product people can buy.
Sources and accuracy
Every post lists the pages its facts came from in a Sources line at the bottom. A post may only state facts found in those sources. If a price or spec isn't confirmed, we leave it out or say it isn't confirmed yet.
How posts are written
Our daily posts are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools. The tools search the web and write from the sources they find. These posts are not hands-on reviews: we haven't tested a product unless a post explicitly says so, and we don't invent quotes or personal experiences.
Affiliate links and ads
Some posts contain Amazon Associates affiliate links, and we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed in the post. Some pages may also show ads through Google AdSense. Affiliate links and ads don't decide which stories we cover.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, email Davis@techtreck.tech with a link to the post. We fix confirmed errors and note significant corrections in the post.
